The layering in this yes, absorbed much time yet was an unusual approach for me personally & refreshing...'tis the DA inspiration seeping through when I glimpse myself at some of the incredible work here. ~Kx

:-D JUST for you my precious J I opened the original unflattened psd file a moment ago.....thirty two layers.....lol...a lil' as the 'princess & pea' syndrome methinks. Not inclusive of a lil' layering on the original piece after some clumsy brush~work....CS is proving difficult to 'handle' in tis OSX still with my usual 'tools'......but it's lovely also to unleash & experiment a little.
AGREE with your obsevation re. the ocular apparatus...)...that was my last call.....selected; feathered subtly & attempted to tweak the hue a lil'....it didn't satisfy moi....appeared a lil' false & contrived, so I left it alone but yes, needs something there indeed. Thank you for your enthusiasm here....this particular piece is a 'new territory' for me here as I do not often use so much 'layering', etc but became somewhat carried away....lol....an enjoyable if not time~consuming pursuit. DA's fault...)) I am always so inspired when I place my toes in this exquisite pool.....
